Farewells

Hello!

I have just noticed that over the course of February, I have only managed to produce one blog, the one being from the last week. This is pretty bad, but I think it very well summarizes the turbulent nature of that month. Hopefully the next one will be calmer.

This week I had to say a farewell to a lot of people I hold dear. One of my housemates have moved out, and two people left for a thesis abroad. This was bitter sweet: I realize how fast the time here in Zurich has flown, through all the struggles and successes, I did not even notice that 3 semesters have gone by. I feel like I have done very little, but also way too much. I want to rest, and I want more of everything too. At the same time, I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL. People I have met over the last year and a half taught me a lot about myself. I am extremely grateful for all the times we had together, all the lunches we shared, the partys, and the morning lectures where we thought we would die, but somehow we did not.

I guess that is how life goes. You win some, you lose some. It also makes me jealous to see other people move forward, while I stay behind. Mostly in my life it was always me to go away from others, not the reverse. Makes me want to move my fat ass too, to another country, to another experience, to another life lesson. Let’s see where the next chapter takes me.

Till then,

Michal
